Welcome

droppicture2.gifThe Domestic Rainwater Harvesting Community, hosted by EnterpriseWorks/VITA, is a space for collaboration between rainwater harvesting practitioners, researchers, and consultants.

EnterpriseWorks/VITA is currently engaged in a 20-country study of rainwater harvesting practices around the world. The study will provide information for the selection of five countries for further in-depth field studies. Based on the information from the studies, a country will be selected for a pilot implementation using a private sector enterprise-based approach to promote domestic rainwater harvesting technologies. In addition, we are seeking ideas for low cost rainwater storage for developing countries.  Our target is to find a way to provide storage for less than 4 cents per liter (15 cents per gallon) installed cost.  Click here for more information about the project.

Public documents are available in the Library, and there is a public Forum for comments. (You must register to comment). Consultants and invited guests have access to the Workroom to collaborate on documents and share ideas.
